GoPro to Sponsor Red Line Oil Karting Championship.
GoPro, the world's leading manufacturer of wearable and gear mountable digital cameras for sports, has been chosen by the Red Line Oil Karting Championship as the official on-board camera for the series. GoPro's industry leading HD Motorsports HERO camera will be mounted on top racers' helmets and karts to bring the excitement of the Red Line Oil Karting Championships to fans around the world. HD Motorsports HERO cameras will also be awarded to competitors, as well.
The HD Motorsports HERO camera captures professional broadcast quality 1080p HD video and sound. The camera's quick-release mounting design makes it easy to re-position the camera around the vehicle and on drivers' helmets to capture professional quality HD video from multiple angles. Footage from the races will be published on gopro.com and the Red Line Oil Karting Championship website.
For series promoter Steve Cameron, adding GoPro to the growing list of sponsors is a high profile way to market the Red Line Oil Karting Championship as the premier karting series in Northern California.
